when i lost my daughter, i heard this so many times, i seriously thought i was going to punch the next freakin' idiot who said it.
it's just ridiculous.. i also hate the variation "god does everything for a reason".. happyout (whose teeth are still set on edge when she hears that)

OH, this was the WORST.
Anytime someone left the organization, and things went bad, (ex. drugs, job, pregnancy, etc. etc.) they would always jump at the chance.
we all have wished that if we had just one more chance to make a decision and could have changed things, we would have done something differently.

i was discussing with my motherinlaw last weekend the change in the 1995 "generation" doctrine,and got the usual response that it was a new light.
what started out as a little bit of fun during a long car journey actually turning into something quite sad and disturbing.
i argued that old light was obviously wrong (by their own definition), and therefore, by her reasoning she has been preaching lies.
When I put this question to my family, they stated that nothing had changed, just they got more information, how pathetic is that.
I said I guess you really don't read the publications or listen very well do you ?
does anyone else have trouble processing the logic behind the wts issue of universal sovreignty?

So all of us get killed at Armageddon, and he already has his pass to get thru. That sounds fair, don't you think ???????

I have always thought that SOMETIMES, people exaggerate stories a little or experiences a little, if you would of told me about this site, I would of said yeah right. (and I do not like the JW's, let me make that very clear !!!)
I wouldn't of believed it, if I didn't see it. They have sunk to a new low.
Does this site alone , not show that they are prejudice against ANYONE who is not a JW.

now let's say for the sake of arguement, that the bible is not complete, maybe missing a couple books or maybe just some chapters and verses.. would this throw off the supposed timeline of the jw's, for example, their 1914 theory, creative days, lenghth of a day, anything to do with dates or time related.. it seems to me that the watchtower spends a lot of time coming up with years of importance.. if the bible is incomplete, how can they be sure of any calculations at all ???.
is the bible complete ???.
